My deepest passion and my original area of study is architecture and installation design. My AA in Pre-Architecture and Drafting has allowed me to use the 3D rendering software “Revit Architecture" to Design both exhibits and installations.

Science Of Cities
Santa Fe Children's Museum Exhibit

The Department of Cultural Affairs and NMHU Media Arts joined forces to create this exhibit at SFCM. Science of Cities was created by myself and two other students from the Media Arts Program.

The idea with this exhibit was to take really complex scientific research from Luis Bettencourt (theoretical physicist at Santa Fe Institute), and turn it into a child friendly exhibit.

(See Luis's Research)

To do so we created six educational panels and broke down the different levels of what makes a city. These categories go over the very basic levels of what makes a city, and helps young children start to realize what this enitity that surrounds them really is, and how connections play a big part of their daily life.

Lastly, we added a small table with a "Children's Style" map of Santa Fe. A plexi cover was added to that children could draw on the table with Dry Erase Markers and map out the different places they go to around Santa Fe.

"Nostalgia"
Inspired by the Drive-In Experience

Many people may not realize that our Drive-In is in danger of closing down permanently, and it is up to this community to keep it alive. This installation was created to reaise awareness and to remind many people of a very important piece of history in Las Vegas.

This installation is designed to show us what the Drive-In will become without any help from our community. A distant memory.

This installation was also to Currents in Santa Fe, so as to inform the artistic community.
